Meet Rider Sophie!

Since joining us in the Spring Semester of 2025, Sophie has shown remarkable growth in both her riding abilities and self-confidence. Her parents shared their joy in seeing her thrive at SoléAna Stables, expressing gratitude for the encouragement, love, and support she receives. From initially feeling a mix of excitement and nerves about riding, Sophie now eagerly anticipates her time with "Bob" and looks forward to Saturdays with Ms. Karen, volunteers, and peers. Witnessing her beaming smile and newfound joy while riding truly speaks volumes. SoléAna Stables continues to be a source of empowerment and positivity for Sophie, and her parents are incredibly grateful for the welcoming and supportive environment provided.

Horses For Heroes

Experience the transformative power of our 8-week Horses for Heroes program, where veterans engage in groundwork and relationship building alongside our horses. This unique partnership cultivates self-awareness, communication skills, confidence, and emotional regulation, providing our heroes with peace and a path forward. Best of all, this program is offered at no cost to our military community, ensuring accessibility to those who have served our country. Join us for 2-hour sessions, with the first 1.5 hours dedicated to equine lessons and the remaining time for community building. With a maximum of 8 participants per lesson, individuals will gain essential equine handling skills, a basic understanding of horse care, and enjoy fun exercises that emphasize the special bond between horse and handler.

Our instructors attend the
2025 PATH International Conference in Colorado

We are so grateful for the opportunity to have five members of our SoléAna Stables staff represent us at the 2025 PATH International Conference in Colorado.

Our team had three incredible days filled with learning, networking, and dreaming big for the future of our program! We dove deep into the newest research in equine science and equine assisted services, while expanding our knowledge in sessions covering animal welfare, equine care, lesson planning, saddle fitting, nervous system regulation in humans and horses, mindfulness, expanding equine services, navigating challenges with riders and horses, and so many more incredible topics! It was wonderful to be surrounded by a community of individuals with similar goals and dreams, sharing their passion, heart, and expertise with others in the industry.

We launched our Honoring our Heroes campaign in October of 2025 and, thanks to you, we raised $36,373!

Uncorked 2025 was a huge success, thanks to YOU!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the amazing love and support we received at Uncorked 2025. The dancing was fantastic, the food was incredible, but most of all, the generosity of our guests truly touched our hearts.

Thanks to you, we raised a little over $72,000!

OCI Golf Tournament

It takes dedication and heart to make a difference, and the team at OCI Houston Energy Corridor certainly has shown both! We are overwhelmed with gratitude for this wonderful contribution to our program from the golf tournament that they organized in November.

Meet Horseshoe Club member Diane Kimball

Diane is one of our amazing volunteers, as well as a lesson assistant, AND a member of our Horseshoe Club! Regular contributions through our Horseshoe Club help us bring the healing power of horses to even more individuals in our community. Here’s what she shared about our program:

“I have volunteered and worked with SoléAna for two years. The care they provide to horses, individuals with special needs, and veterans is amazing.
